Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our specialised dry hire equipment is available exclusively to professional organisations. This includes local governments, councils and shires, established contractors, mining and resource sector teams, and renewable energy operators. We do not hire to individuals, residential users, or uninsured entities, as our fleet is designed for commercial, high-risk and high-value applications.

  • Our dry hire fleet is supplied on a dry hire basis only. In some cases, we may recommend contracted services through Coastal Vegetation Management where a full-service solution is more appropriate. This will be discussed during the enquiry process to ensure the best outcome for the project.

  • To assess suitability, we require basic project details, the intended scope of works, operator experience, and confirmation of insurance coverage. For first-time hirers, we may also request references. This process ensures the right equipment is matched to the right project and operator.

  • Yes. All hired equipment must be operated by experienced and competent personnel who are familiar with similar machinery. For certain high-powered or specialised units, such as forestry mulchers, evidence of prior experience may be required before approval. This helps protect both the operator and the equipment.

  • All hirers must hold current Public Liability Insurance and Plant & Equipment Insurance that covers hired-in machinery. Due to the value and nature of the equipment, hire cannot proceed without appropriate insurance documentation.

  • Yes. All equipment is hired on a minimum one-week basis. This ensures projects are properly planned, equipment is allocated to genuine commercial workloads, and hire arrangements remain practical and cost-effective for both parties. Shorter hire periods may be considered only for existing clients.

  • Equipment inspections may be arranged for approved enquiries where appropriate. As our machinery is actively deployed and maintained across multiple sites, inspections are managed on a case-by-case basis following an initial suitability review.

  • Our dry hire fleet consists of specialised, high-value machinery that is not typically available through general hire suppliers. These requirements allow us to maintain safety, compliance and reliability, prevent misuse or damage, and ensure equipment remains available for essential vegetation management and fire mitigation works across Western Australia.
